ABOUT Dance Professor (Login to Contact Dance Professor )

I like to push the envelope on repertoire -- resurrect old moves that have fallen out of favor and learn/invent new ones. I improvise heavily if I am confident it won't faze my partner. I am willing to work up a jam routine.

Started dancing in 1971; learned jitterbug in 1972, lindy hop, balboa and StL shag in 1994, collegiate a few years later. First taught/performed in 1972. Taught the TJ swing club (~80 members) and coached the TJ swing team (~12 members) for 4 years. Photos 1, 2 and 4 are ~ 15 years old, 3 is recent. The youtube video #1 is from a charity performance I did with Lisa Morgan Brown in 1998. If the link isn't visible, try https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AL7r9GPnbrY The age field says "60s/70s", I turned 61 in Nov. 2014.
